The SU1604 summator expands the energy control system to include a modular data logger system.

The summators included in the energy control system collect meter data from various interfaces, and evaluate them by means of internal processing channels. Operating and consumption values determined in this way are summed up in synchronization with the power utility’s measuring interval, and are saved together with the associated maximum values. This autonomous energy database allows for logging, visualization, optimization and cost center related billing of all electrical and non-electrical energy media.

The SU1604 summator unites time-tested functions with the most up-to-date technology and a flexible, modular housing concept.
It can be equipped with up to 64 electrically isolated S0 meter inputs in a modular fashion for processing pulse-shaped S0 input signals. The SU1624 pulse input module is used to this end.

All relevant energy and consumption data are logged over defined time periods and a programmable interval, and are saved as load profiles with the associated maximum values for easy evaluation.

Up to four recorders with a maximum of 64 channels and various time bases as of one second can be defined in addition to the interval / measurement data list. Any desired data can be selected for each channel (analog values, power values, consumption values per interval and overall meter readings) and saved as 32 bit float values (default) or 64 bit double values.

The Ethernet interface permits remote access to device data via a TCP/IP network. Up to four TCP/IP sockets with ECL access can be used simultaneously (corresponds to 4 previously used COM servers). An ECS LAN network can also be implemented via two of these sockets (ECS LAN via COM).
